This policy describes what information PureTide Lab collects, why it is collected, and how it is handled. The Services are business-to- business tools for qualified research organizations; we collect the minimum needed to operate a compliant wholesale program.
What we collect
- Account data — name and email address, managed through our authentication provider (Clerk).
- Organization data — company name, contact details, organization type, and research area, provided during the research-use attestation.
- Attestation records — the certifications you accept, with timestamp, IP address, browser user-agent, and terms version. These are compliance records and are retained for as long as the account holds order history.
- Order data — items, quantities, pricing, shipping address, and status history.
- Brand assets — logos and label designs you upload or create in the label studio, stored so your designs can be reproduced exactly at production time.
How it is used
Data is used to operate the wholesale program: verifying research-use eligibility, producing and fulfilling orders, printing approved label artwork, sending order notifications, and meeting record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer brand assets for anything beyond producing the labels you order.
Where it lives
Application data is stored in a database operated for PureTide Lab. Authentication is handled by Clerk under its own privacy policy. Transactional email is delivered through Resend. We share data with no other third parties except as required to fulfill orders or comply with law.
Your choices
You may update organization details from your account page. To close an account or request deletion of data not required for compliance record-keeping, contact support. Attestation and order records tied to fulfilled orders are retained as compliance records.
